A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to the Order of the Borough of Waynesboro, or Negotiable U.s. Government Bonds (at Par Value), or a Satisfactory Bid Bond Executed by the Bidder and an Acceptable Surety, in an Amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Total of the Bid Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid. This Project is Funded by the Community Development Block Grant (Cdbg) Fund and Federal Prevailing Wages Established Under the Davis-bacon Act Shall Apply to This Contract. The Contract Documents Contain Requirements Addressing Prevailing Labor Wage Rates, Labor Standards, Non-discrimination in Hiring Practices, Goals for Minority and Female Participation, Mbe, Dbe and Wbe Participation, Participation by Section 3 Residents and Businesses, and Related Matters. The Borough of Waynesboro (Owner) Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids or to Waive Any Informality in the Bidding Process. Bids May Be Held by the Owner for a Period Not-to-exceed Thirty (30) Days From the Date of Opening Bids, for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of Bidders Prior to Awarding the Contract.
