Renovation of an educational facility in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Interior Painting of All Classrooms in Elementary Portion of the Building. : Springfield International Charter School, 160 Joan St, Springfield, MA Estimated Cost $60,000 The estimated timeframe to complete this project is between 06/26/2024 and 08/16/2024 A. Deviations from this Specification must be approved in writing by SICS' Director of Operations prior to the Contractor beginning work. B. The construction shall be conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and these Specifications. A general description of the work to be performed shall include but not be limited to: 1. Spot clean walls. 2. Scrape peeling/chipping paint. 3. Sand localized failures. 4. Spot prime localized failures. 5. Repair holes in wall. 6. Caulk cracks as necessary. 7. Remove outlet covers. 8. Using airless sprayers, brushes, or rollers, complete paint coverage of (36) classrooms, hallways, and door trim in elementary school. o Completed classrooms will be finished in 3 colors in the same pattern as existing classrooms. o Walls will be covered using Pre-catalyzed Water Based Epoxy Semi-gloss (Sherin Williams or acceptable substitute) o Door trim will be covered using a two-component zero VOC water-based epoxy (Sherwin Williams or acceptable substitute) C. Pre-bid inspection to be held at the date and time specified above. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that the potential Bidders visit the site prior to bidding in order to determine the actual field conditions including access, evaluation of the work areas; and protection requirements. D. Contractor shall submit copies of all applicable Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for materials brought to the SITE shall be reviewed and approved in advance by the SICS Director of Operations. E. Contractor shall be responsible of: 1. Coordination with SICS Director of Operations for the protection of existing utilities including, but not limited to gas, water, sanitary, and electric within the Limits of Work. 2. Mobilization to the SITE. 3. Installation and maintenance of all protective measures for the duration of theWork to isolate the work area. Protective measures shall include, but not be limited to barriers, signage, and caution tape, as required by the SICS Director of Operations. F. It is the Contractor's responsibility to determine the most efficient method to legally perform this Work. Unless expressly noted, this Specification does not dictate specific methods to be implemented in the performance of the Work.
