Renovation of a residential development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Project consists of replacement of existing combination boiler/domestic hot water systems with new including combination boiler/domestic water heaters, pumps, expansion tanks, zone controllers, and accessories. Replacement of existing venting and combustion air piping thru the sidewall. Reworking of the existing natural gas piping infrastructure. Tenant apartment zone control replacement. Overall project electrical support to disconnect and reconnect new materials as required. Estimated Cost $375,000. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Question Deadline 07/10/2024 Project Identification: Name of the Project on the Contract Documents is Replacement of combination boiler/domestic water heaters at Pine Renee Circle, Springfield, Massachusetts. B. Abbreviated Written Summary: The work of the Contract can be summarized by reference to the Contract Documents. Work of this Contract includes the coordination of the entire work indicated by the Contract Documents. Briefly, without limitation the work can be summarized as follows: 1. The Project involves providing the removal of the existing HVAC equipment and providing new HVAC equipment. Removing obsolete electrical equipment and wiring and providing new equipment and wiring to power the new HVAC equipment, including Fire Alarm system components. C. Phasing and Sequence of Work: The work shall commence immediately upon receipt of the notice to proceed and continue unabated until complete. All work shall be completed by September 15, 2024. The work shall be scheduled to provide a minimum of interruptions to the buildingsi occupants. All work shall be done during normal business hours, 7AM- 5PM.
