Renovation of an educational facility in Regina, Saskatchewan. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

* No Award. The University of Regina (UofR) is looking to complete some roofing repair and replace existing rooftop units (RTU) for the Technology Development Facility located at 3303 Grant Road, Regina SK. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is only for the RTU scope of work, but scheduling coordination with the roofing repairs is required. HDA recently completed a review of the existing equipment. The review is attached, budget expectations section redacted for Tender purposes. The UofR expects that pricing include all labour and equipoment costs associated with the full and safe removal and replacment of the RTUs, understanding that two trips are likely required due to the roofing repairs required in the occupied space. As per the inspection report, it is expected that all equipment be replaced with single packaged systems appropriate to the current size and use. Any and all repairs or upgrades to existing venting or piping should be included within the base bid price. Any improvement, such as heat recovery, should be noted as separate pricing outside of the base bid price. Proposals should include total price, specifications for equipment being proposed, and schedule for installation including lead time for delivery (based on a July 4, 2024 award date).
