Town Facility Plumbing Services Contract Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000 The Work of this contract shall consist of routine and emergency plumbing maintenance services, at various Town facilities between July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. The contract duration is for one (1) year with an option to renew for an additional two (2) years at the Town’s discretion. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in form of a certified check, cashier's check, or security bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid. Bidders may not withdraw their Bids for a period of forty-five (45) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays, after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the provision of the M.G.L. c. 149, §§26 to 270, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Prevailing Wage Rates for those trades who may be employed for the proposed work under this Contract. The Bidding and Award of this Contract will be pursuant to M.G.L. c. 149, sec 44A-M. The Owner reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion, to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest.
