Project proposals from qualified non-profit organizations for the design and construction of twenty-six (26) attached single-family housing units or the maximum feasible units as based on proposed Site Plan. Projects are to be developed on 3.13 +/- acres of City owned vacant land, folio number: 494135400010, and will be sold for occupancy by workforce-income person(s) and/or families, as defined by the Broward Next Broward County Land Use Plan (and referenced in Section 1 - Definitions), within Broward County whose income is between 80% to 140% Area Median Income AMI per the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") in accordance with the Scope of Work provided in Section 2. Vendors who obtain solicitation documents from other sources than the Finance Department are cautioned that the solicitation package may be incomplete. Furthermore, all addendums will be posted and disseminated by the Finance/Purchasing Department. Responsible questions regarding this RFP offering may be directed to the Purchasing Department via the IonWave portal. The last date for questions pertaining to this proposal is ten (10) days prior to the proposal due date. Questions received after this date will not be answered. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or certified check made payable to the "City of Lauderhill", in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, must be submitted with the bid. Bidder must use Bid Bond form provided. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Guaranty Bonds in the form of a 100% Construction Performance Bond and a 100% Construction Payment Bond will be required upon award of bid.
