Renovation of an educational facility in Savoy, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of September 5, 2024, project was awarded to Comalli Electric with base bid $121,212.00 + Alternate $23,840.00. Standby Generation Installation. The installation of a propane-powered generator and automatic transfer switch to provide standby power for the Emma Miller Elementary School building. The additional cost to also provide standby power to the Library from the same generator is required. The generator would be sized to power all the loads in both the Main School Building and the Library. The generator would be mounted on a pad, in a weatherproof enclosure, near the northeast corner of the main school building. The automatic transfer switches would be located outside each of the buildings and mounted in a weatherproof enclosure.
