Site work for a road / highway in Savoy, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
**As of April 14, 2023, this project has been awarded to Dexter Forestry Services, LLC. Project must be completed by 6/30/2023.** Contractor shall mow and mulch all glossy buckthorn saplings = 2" dbh within the 20 acre treatment unit to prepare area for summer herbicide treatment. Saplings shall be mowed as close to the ground as possible and shall not exceed 6" from the ground. The Unit is located on a hillside with occasional rocks and was mulched in 2022. The resulting slash and woody debris from mowed saplings need not be mulched but must be evenly distributed. All ruts shall be graded at conclusion of operation. The estimated cost of construction is $24,000 (Figure 2). All questions concerning this bid should be submitted to the contract administrator (Lori Cookman, Federal Aid and Compliance Manager, lori.cookman@mass.gov) in writing.
