The work for which bids are being accepted consists of approximately 1,600 square yards of full depth pavement repair on East Market Street. Each bid shall contain the full name and address of each person or company interested in the same and shall be accompanied by a bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid, or by a certified check, cashier's check or irrevocable letter of credit for ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the City of Washington Court House, Ohio, conditioned that if the bid is accepted a Contract will be entered into within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance. A Performance Bond of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract with a satisfactory surety company, conditioned according to Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54, 153.57, and 153.571 as applicable, will be required for the faithful performance of the Contract.
