The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: renovation of a library development. As of June 17, 2024, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. Location- 198 S. Main Glen Carbon, IL 62034 Summary Project Description: The project consists of the removal of the existing membrane and selective areas of metal roofing, insulation removal then replacement of the insulation and roofing. Removal and replacement of damaged insulation, membrane roofing replacement and replacement of an area of metal roofing and insulation The Owner has elected to request the work be completed by November 1st , 2024. 1. The Owner has elected to extend the deadline for receiving pre-qualification forms to 06.27.2024 at 5:00 pm. 2. The Owner has elected to eliminate the requirement to salvage coping for reinstallation. All coping tis to be replaced with new coping to match existing. 3. The Owner has elected to revise the base bid roof requirement to 60 mil white EPDM roofing system with 25- year details for a 25-year warranty. 4. The Owner has elected to have Kane Mechanical (GCCL's mechanical contractor) raise the gas piping 4", under separate contract with GCCL. 5. The Owner has elected to replace the short downspouts from the standing seam gable roof instead of shortening them.
