The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiation with one or more qualified suppliers to provide preventive maintenance, and limited repairs and/or replacement of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems (HVAC), and related components for Chesterfield County ("the County") and Chesterfield County Public Schools ("CCPS"). For purposes of this RFP, "the County" and "CCPS" are synonymous, except where otherwise required by context or law. The County reserves the right to make multiple contract awards. Inquiries must be received no later than July 05, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in order to be considered. Chesterfield County's General Services Department currently maintains over 1 million square feet of conditioned space across the County. Chesterfield County Public Schools maintains approximately 8.5 million square feet of conditioned space districtwide including sixty-eight (68) schools. The buildings were built at different times and employ a variety of different mechanical systems. Chesterfield County's General Services Department currently performs preventive maintenance in-house but reserves the right to request services under the resulting Contract. The County reserves the right to perform equipment replacement and repairs less than $200,000 under a separate contract in its sole discretion.
