Key elements of this project include the following: o Demolish existing Standby Generator o Demolish the facility's existing Lighting System and install a new System o Demolish existing Gate Operating Screw Jack Systems along with related Hydraulic and Electrical Control Equipment o Furnish and install four (4) new Wire Rope Drum Type Gate Hoists o Modification of one (1) existing Fish Passage Overflow Stop Log Structure for downstream Stop Log Slot o Furnish and install one (1) new Upstream Stop Log Structure o Design, furnish, fabricate, and install a new Gate Control System o Test and commission newly installed Equipment o Demolish four (4) existing Spillway Gates (Additive Alternate #1) o Furnish and install four (4) new Spillway Gates (Additive Alternate #1) o Refurbish existing Spillway Gate Slots, Gate Guides, and Gate Sill Beam (Additive Alternate #1) o Furnish and install new Gate and Gate Slot Heater System for Gate #1 (Additive Alternate #1) o Furnish and install new Gate and Gate Slot Heater System for Gate #2 (Additive Alternate #2) o Furnish the four (4) Additive Alternate #1 new Spillway Gates with a Metallized Coating System (Additive Alternate #3) Voluntary numerical Diverse Business goals of 10% MBE, 6% WBE, 5% Washington Small Business, and 5% Veterans have been established for this project.
