Saving Project...

Site work for a water / sewer project in Franklin, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work will consist of the construction of approximately 2,000 linear feet of 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer and 1,000 linear feet of 10-inch diameter sanitary along with manholes and all related appurtenances. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty bond in the amount of 10% of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to execute the contract and to provide a 100% performance bond within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. In case the bidder neglects to so execute the contract, the check accompanying the proposal shall be forfeited to the City of Middletown, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages. The address and telephone number of the bonding company and agent must be included with all bid guaranty bonds and performance bonds. Bidders must comply with the State Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Butler County and the City of Middletown, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Auditor of State Division of Industrial Compliance & Labor.
