Bud Ervin WTP Phase V Expansion - Package 1 Furnish/Deliver Membrane System and Ancillary Equip. The Owner owns and operates the Bud Ervin WTP located at 707 Pleasant Ridge Ct, Mansfield, TX 76063 in Tarrant County. The purpose of the project is to increase total capacity of the WTP beyond the originally master planned buildout capacity of 60 million gallons per day (MGD) to up to 75 MGD. The current capacity of the WTP is 45 MGD. After expiration of the time and date above first written, said proposals will be opened to identify Proposer firms only and read according to State law. It is the sole responsibility of the Proposer to ensure that the proposal is uploaded and submitted before the time and date above first written. It shall be each Proposer's sole responsibility to inspect the site of the work regarding the local conditions under which the work is to be done. It shall be understood and agreed that all such factors have been thoroughly investigated and considered in the preparation of the proposal submitted Question Deadline 07/18/2024 at 2:00 PM CT This Package #1 is only for the Furnish and Delivery of the Membrane System and Ancillary Equipment as specified. Proposers shall include all the equipment necessary to make their system fully functional, operational, and meet the Performance Requirements of the System. In general, the entire project consists of the following scope and future packages are forthcoming. Low pressure micro-filtration membrane system retrofit/expansion using membrane modules by either Nanostone or Pall that are to be provided by a membrane system integrator (Nano stone) or the membrane manufacturer (Pall); Ancillary membrane equipment, including backwash pumps and piping, strainers, crossflow piping (Pall only), air scour blower (Pall only), CIP piping and equipment, feed piping, filtrate piping, tanks, and electrical, instrumentation, and controls; Expansion of the 0.8-percent concentration sodium hypochlorite on-site generation system; Chemical storage, containment, and feed modifications, including improvements for polyaluminum chloride (PACl), liquid ammonium sulfate (LAS), caustic, and 0.8-percent sodium hypochlorite; Replacement of one (1) vertical turbine pump and necessary piping and valves at the Lower Pressure Plane High Service Pump Station; Addition of one (1) vertical turbine pump and necessary piping and valves at the Upper Pressure Plane High Service Pump Station; Modifications to the inlet of Clear well No. 1; Wash water Recovery Basin 2 modifications, including piping modifications, chemical feed piping, addition of baffles and/or plate settlers, and upsized decant system; Wash water Recycle Pump Station and Recycle Pipeline upsizing; Electrical, instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA improvements; Installation of one (1) diesel-powered electrical generator; Addition of automatic transfer switches for three (3) existing diesel powered electrical generators; Yard and plant piping improvements; Structural improvements for the above-mentioned items; and HVAC and architectural modifications (if needed) for the above-mentioned items.
