Spring Site Infrastructure Improvements Design The equipment and piping at the spring sites was installed approximately 70 years ago and are past their useful life. The replacement of the collection systems, pumps, chemical feed systems, flow measurement devices, structures, and associated equipment and the repair of the existing reservoirs would be necessary to ensure the long-term viability of the spring sites' operations. This includes the construction of adequate chemical storage and containment, and the installation of an emergency eyewash and shower at each facility. The project is included in the City's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of June 17, 2024, per owner, a design team has been identified. They are working on plans to be sent to Health Department for review by September 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
