Project Location: Fenton, MO The work covered under this specification includes all materials, equipment and workmanship required for the asphalt patching of a utility excavation and the application of an Asphalt Sealcoat, Asphalt Crack Sealant and Pavement Striping to an existing asphaltic concrete pavement as specified in these specifications and as directed by the Engineer.
The asphalt patch shall be 5 in thick in the area of patching The areas are outlined with white paint. Approximately 1500 sq.ft. of pavement will need to be replaced due to excessive cracking. Areas to be replaced are located at the 1041 address.
Two (2) locations shall be crack filled and seal coated. These locations are the NPSD Office and Maintenance facility at 1041 Gravois Road, and the Saline Creek Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility at 555 13th Street.All asphalt at both locations shall be crack filled and seal coated. The limits of sealcoating at the Saline Creek Regional Water Resource Recovery Facility shall continue to the junction of asphalt and concrete outside of the entrance gate.
Repairs and crack filling can be completed Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. Sealing will need to be completed on Saturday. The district will have parking lots empty of vehicles and equipment. The district will provide access to contractor on scheduled date
