Renovation of a medical facility in Mason, Michigan. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Ingham County seeks proposals from licensed, qualified and experienced contractors to enter into a contract for exterior renovations at the House of Commons. The House of Commons facility is approximately 25 years old and 8,700 square feet. The existing building classification is Institutional Group I-1 (condition 1). Refer to the enclosed Project Manual and drawings as provided by the Consultant for complete project requirements; if any terms and conditions differ from the RFP, the County's terms and conditions will prevail. Community Mental Health is the General Contractor. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Guarantee shall be in the form of a bid bond executed by an approved surety company, made payable to the County of Ingham. Bid guarantee shall run for a period of not less than ninety (90) days. If the successful proposer fails to furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds and insurance certificates within ten (10) business days after receipt of Notice of Award, such guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. Ingham County reserves the right to increase or decrease any or all of the proposed quantities. The quantities listed in the RFP may be approximate and are stated solely to provide a uniform base of calculation for comparison of proposals and award of contract. No guarantee is made by the County that the actual quantities will correspond with the proposed quantities. The Contractor will be paid based upon his/her lump sum and/or unit prices proposal and any alternates accepted by the County and as may be further modified by Change Order for work added or deleted from the project indicated in the RFP. Question Deadline 06/24/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Any explanation desired by a Proposer regarding the meaning or interpretation of this RFP and attachments must be requested only to the Ingham County Purchasing Department, at questions@ingham.org.
