Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance of Green Storm water Infrastructure (GSI) Surface Features for the City of Philadelphia. Debris: Elements including, but not limited to, concrete, concrete masonry, wood, excavated rock and rock fragments, rubble, overburden soils, abandoned utility structures, trash, refuse and litter. Diameter at breast height (DBH): refers to measurement of tree trunk at 4.5 feet above the ground. Drainage area: the total sum of all areas that drains to, or otherwise contributes stormwater run-off to a specified GSI system. MBE Ranges 15%- 20% ANF WBE Ranges 10% - 15% Questions regarding this Request for Proposals must be submitted in writing no later than Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 5:00 PM, Local Time ("Deadline for Questions") and submitted through online The "Initial Term" of the Contract will commence on November 1, 2024. The Initial Term will expire at 5:00 p.m. on the date that is one day prior to the one-year anniversary of the Commencement Date. The City may, at its sole discretion, renew the Contract for up to four (4) additional one-year (1) periods (each period a "Renewal Term"). To renew the Contract, the City must provide written notice to the Contractor of the City's desire to renew the contract ("Renewal Notice") at least sixty (60) days before expiration of the Initial Term or then-current Renewal Term, as the case may be. In the Concession Agreement and this RFP, "Term" means the Initial Term and all Renewal Terms, if any. In the Contract and this RFP, the date the Contract expires, is terminated, or otherwise ends, is called the "Contract Ending Date." Under no circumstances shall any Contract awarded through this RFP continue past one year without a notice of renewal.
