The Colville Tribe is requesting bids for repair and/or replace approximately 8 miles (42,240 ft.) of fencing and gates to stock tight condition. Fence is measured as per horizontal distance. Majority of the fence is four strand barbed wire. The contractor will need to repair the fence and replace the top and bottom wires with barbless wire. Wooden H-braces will need to be installed. All work will comply with the CCT wildlife friendly fencing specifications. Once the contract is awarded and approved the date for actual start of work will be coordinated between the Contractor and the Contracting Officer Representative, but work must be completed by November 30th, 2024. Location Description Section 1 Coyote Creek: The location for the Whitmore Fencing Contract Section 1 Coyote Creek, lies at Township 31 North; Range 29 East Sections 4, 9 and 16. The work site is North and South ofthe cattle guard where the pavement turns to gravel, with approximately 0.75 miles running north ofthe cattle guard and approximately 2 miles offence running south ofthe cattle guard. Location Description Section 2 Southeast: The location for the Whitmore Fencing Contract Section 2 Southeast, lies at Township 31 North; Range 28 East Sections 18, 23 and 24 and Township 31 North, Range 29 East, Sections 16, 17, 18 and 19. The work site runs north approximately a mile off Whitmore Mtn. Rd., then runs east approximately 6 miles and ends at Hamilton Ridge Rd.
