Site work for a mixed-use development in Media, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of July 5, 2024 this project has been cancelled and no plan rebidding at this time** Upgrade of intersection at S, R.291 & Jeffrey Street to fully signalize the intersection. Question Deadline 07/01/2024 at 4:30 PM ET, Location : online portal. Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. The successful Bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of receipt of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Contractor shall provide a Maintenance Bond for eighteen (18) months in the amount of 15% of the improvements. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or after a date to be specified in written "Notice to Proceed" of the Owner and to fully complete the project within 60 consecutive calendar days thereafter as stipulated in the specifications. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $500 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in Paragraph 13.D of the General Conditions.
