Energy Savings Improvement Program Proposed HVAC Upgrades at the Atlantic County Civil Courthouse Question Deadline 06/17/2024 at 4:00 PM ET In the event that a Bidder may have any questions regarding this Bid or the Work, all such questions should be submitted in writing on the Bid Portal Question section of the specific bid All work timelines are exclusive of Weekends & Holidays. All work to begin within 10 (ten) working days from Notice to Proceed. Location: Atlantic County Civil Court Building 1201 Bacharach Boulevard, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 This project must be completed ASAP & within the County approved Construction Schedule. The Substantial Completion Date shall be Four Hundred and Eighty (480) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Base Bid project. The Final Completion Date shall be Five Hundred and Ten (510) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Base Bid project. Liquidated Damages for work not completed within the approved schedule shall be assessed in the amount of $ 500.00 (Five Hundred Dollars) per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Allowance funds may only be used with the prior approval of the Director of Facilities Management. Work performed without prior approval will not be paid. Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond must be not less than ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the bid, except that no check or bid bond shall be for more than $20,000.00 and made payable to the Atlantic County Treasurer which the undersigned agrees is to be forfeited as liquidated damages and not a penalty if the Contract is awarded to the undersigned and the undersigned shall fail to execute the Contract for the project or furnish the required bond. Otherwise, said deposit shall be returned to the undersigned.
