Sinkhole Repairs Between Milepost 187.00 And Milepost 312.03 In Franklin, Cumberland, York, Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster, Berks And Chester Counties Work may include repair of sinkholes, and the repair of shoulders and/or roadway when the sinkhole extends into the shoulder and/or roadway. Major work items may include the following items: Excavation Sinkhole Repair by Drilling and Grouting (Limited Mobility Grouting) Sinkhole Repair by Drilling and Grouting (High Mobility Grouting) Excavated Sinkhole Repair Soil Cement Grout Flowable Backfill Continuous Soil and Rock Drilling and Sampling Biaxial Geogrid Pavement Patching Pipe Inspection. Miscellaneous repairs may include other types of work that are not associated with the items of work being bid. If the need arises for such work, prices to perform the work will be negotiated with the Contractor for each work authorization. Quantities will be determined with each Work Authorization that is issued. This contract provides for the Commission to issue Work Authorizations to the Contractor to perform sinkhole repairs as the need arises. The contract time period will extend from the date of Notice to Proceed to October 29, 2027 . A Prequalification Certification and Applicable Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project. It is understood that the total maximum costs for this contract, to the Commission, may not exceed the amount of Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00).
