Site work for a water / sewer project in Oak Hill, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Contract #1- Collection System Rehabilitation The work of this contract includes temporary bypass pumping, replacing new drop connections, installing 15 new manhole steps, applying crystalline concrete waterproofing coating to the interior of approximately 190 manholes, replacing 1 gravity terminal cleanout, removing and replacing 8 manholes, locating and rehabilitating 151 manholes that have not been found, surface restoration, and all necessary appurtenances for a complete and operational system. Contract #1- Collection System Rehabilitation: The Work will be substantially completed within 300 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 330 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,500.00 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Oak Hill Sanitary Board in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Question Deadline 07/09/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
