Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
As of July 16,2024, project was awarded to E.T. Gresham Company, Inc., but awarded amount is not available. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to install a fully functional fall protection system at Wells Theatre. The Wells Theatre located in downtown Norfolk was built in 1912, is owned and operated by the City of Norfolk and one of the Seven Venues. The Wells Theatre has been home to the Virginia Stage Company since 1979 and has a seating capacity of 641. Fall protection services are required to ensure the safety of the stage for performers and staff.
