Qualifications from architectural firms desiring to assist in the preparation of plans and specifications for the construction of an Educational Pavilion/Farmers Market Center. This Request for Qualifications is intended to address the Scope of Services and to outline information requested from firms responding to this solicitation. The architectural firm selected to assist the Morgan County Cooperative Extension Service will perform all tasks listed in the below Scope of Services. Scope of Services 1. Formulate plan based on input from Extension planning committee and tours of other locations. Complete project design specifications and construction drawings and obtain approval of these documents from appropriate State and Federal agencies. 2. Complete all bid documents and arrange for Board approval of said documents prior to an advertisement for bids. 3. Preparation of the bid advertisement. 4. Attend the bid opening, review bids and render an opinion to the Cooperative Extension Service regarding the best bid received. 5. Issue reports on a regular basis (monthly) to the Cooperative Extension Service regarding project progress. 6. Perform any other related architectural task pertaining to the project, as assigned by the Cooperative Extension Service. In addition to the standard Statements of Qualifications, respondents to this solicitation must also 777provide a narrative statement including the following information: 1. Identification of specific personnel to be assigned to the project, including resumes of these persons. 2. Identification of firm's experience in building design and construction supervision. 3. A listing of not less than three (3) prior clients for which the firm has performed such work, including the contact person and telephone number for each client. 4. An outline schedule listing the benchmarks to be attained in performance of the design phase of the Scope of Services. The Morgan County Cooperative Extension Service reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications. Attention of respondents is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246 and Title VI. Minority firms are encouraged to respond. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
