Demolition, site work and renovation of a library in Potosi, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a library; for the renovation of a library; and for site work for a library.
Said project consists of the removal of existing retaining wall block and landscaping at the pavilion and lower parking lot perimeter. Work will include the completion of site preparation, selective demolition, cutting and patching of concrete, installation of new retaining wall as delineated on the Scope of Work. The Washington County Library hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Wage rates paid on construction work for this project shall be at least equal to the prevailing wage rates as determined by the State of Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. The Washington County Library reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in work.
