The Project consists of: Consolidation/closure of the existing Haven steel package (extended aeration) wastewater treatment plant accomplished by the installation of new duplex submersible pumping equipment (150 gpm @ 65TDH) in the existing Haven 6 diam. wet well, including yard piping, electrical/controls, new wet well top, new valve pit top; pumping through a new 4 diameter PVC/PE force main (2,940LF) to an existing SSMH on the west side of LA445; and associated work such as erosion control measures, limestone, misc. sitework, and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied. Construction Budget: $425,000 Contract Term: 150 calendar days Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Document info : Printed copies of the Bidding Documents shall be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above upon payment of a deposit of $50.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within ten (10) days after receipt of Bids (July 22, 2024) will receive a full refund ($50.00). Non-Bidders will receive a refund of $20.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Spangler Engineering, LLC. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
