Final Date for Receipt of Questions: October 25, 2024 Official Responses to Questions by: October 29, 2024 Contract term: 30 days after completion of project The Design Vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete a fully comprehensive drawing design and specification generation of the services required in a professional manner. Refer to the attached specifications (if applicable) for the following OPWDD Requirements of the Project Scope of Work. All projects are subject to Environmental Surveying, which shall be conducted outside this Scope of Work and shall be completed before work commences on all properties. Design Services: 1. Reference attached specific OPWDD Requirements (if applicable) of the Renovations/Replacements being designed. (eg: Kitchen, Bathroom, Roof, FACP, Generator, Sidewalks, Windows, Abatement, etc.) 2. Drawing Designs and Specifications are to be in accordance with: a. 14 NYCRR 635, Subpart 635-7 b. 19 NYCRR 1201 and 1204. c. OPWDD Specifications, d. NFPA (NFPA 101 - Life Safety Code) e. NYS Uniform Building Code, f. NYS Environmental and Energy Code Regulation Compliance. g. NFPA 101A - Guide on Alternative Approaches to Life Safety. 3. Product Specification Data. a. Construction details, material descriptions, dimensions, profiles, finishes, and applicable schematics, and cut sheets. 4. All Design and Specification documents shall be provided on Adobe (.pdf), CAD Files should be provided to OPWDD for future use and records. 5. Document Submissions to be provided to OPWDD Point of Contact (POC) at routine Intervals: a. 90% Completion (Issued for Permitting- signed and stamped), b. 100% Completion 6. Internal Construction Permitting to be completed by the Maintenance Supervisor with necessary OPWDD Agency Personnel in Central Office The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be started within 120 days of award. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. No debris will remain on site. The contractor will remove all debris. Subcontractors will be pre-approved by the project manager as well as the business office and will be made aware of this scope of work. Scheduled inspections will be conducted or subsequent work may be removed and destroyed in it's entirety. The residential code of NYS will be followed. Continuity of work: Once the job has begun it will be worked on continuously until completion. This home will be occupied during this work and safe appropriate accessibility will be maintained. The safety plan will be followed. Upon completion of the Upstairs Bathroom Renovation, before removal of equipment, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with the point of contact. If any condition of this scope is neglected the project may be terminated immediately
