The District of Taylor (the "District" or "District of Taylor") seeking proposals from qualified firms ("Proponents") to provide curbside collection of residential solid waste for a term of three (3) years, from October 1st, 2024 to September 30th, 2027 with the option of an additional 1 year (to the year 2028) renewal term upon the negotiation of a mutually acceptable agreement. RFP submissions must be from firms or companies that are qualified Contractors as set out in this RFP. The Proponent must be capable of entering into a Contract for the term identified in this RFP and for the provision of complete services required and as set out in this RFP. The garbage collection system will encompass any and all subdivided properties within the District's boundaries. The Contractor is to establish a schedule of routes and time for the collection of garbage for all residential areas within the boundaries of the District which shall be subject to the approval of the Director of Operations. Currently garbage pickup is on a weekly basis Tuesday's, commencing at 8:00 a.m. Each residential dwelling has been supplies with, by the District, one 240-litre wheeled Standard Garbage Container Attached are the Instructions to Proponents and Proposal Guidelines that are to be used as the basis for submitting proposals.
