SP-5 Corridor Plan and Specific Plan Update. Question Deadline 06/27/2024 at 5:00 PM PT All questions must be submitted Online Q&A Yes SCOPE OF WORK City staff is seeking to plan for the future of SP-5, while revitalizing the SP-5 corridor with updated development standards and design guidelines that are specifically tailored to the neighborhood. It is envisioned that SP-5 would continue to encourage revenue producing land uses including hospitality, auto-related, restaurants and other commercial uses. There is potential to introduce some mixed-use into the corridor as well. Continue to consider future high tech uses, allow higher intensities/building heights by right, activate the streetscape(s), and potentially expand SP-5 to capture immediately adjacent parcels. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in any proposal and to select the proposal that best meets the City's needs Scope of Services The City of Placentia is requesting qualified planning and urban design firms to respond to a Request for Proposals to develop regulatory requirements, design guidelines and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) clearance for approximately 19 acres within the City of Placentia currently referred to as Specific Plan 5 (SP-5). SP-5 is generally located north of Orangethorpe Avenue, east of Placentia Avenue, south of Crowther Avenue and west of SR-57 in the southwestern portion of the City of Placentia. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
