Summary The Town of Millbury is seeking a qualified vendor to perform a repair on the chiller at the Millbury Public Library located at 128 Elm Street in Millbury, Massachusetts. The scope of work includes the following: Furnish labor and material to remove refrigerant from circuit 1&2 and save to reuse. Furnish labor and material to isolate chiller and pump out glycol and save for reuse. Furnish labor and material to disconnect piping and remove leaking evaporator head. Furnish labor and material to clean all surfaces and install new evaporator head and gasket. Furnish labor and material to install new suction and liquid line gaskets and reconnect to head. Furnish labor and material to replace circuit 1&2 filter driers, pressure test, and check for leaks. Furnish labor and material to evacuate systems and charge both circuits to factory specs. Furnish labor and material to start up and check operation of chiller once all work is complete. Timeline Work must be completed by July 31, 2024. MGL c. 149 Under $50k Contractor Qualifications Contractor must have correct licensing to work on commercial cooling systems Writen quotes should be submited no later than 2:00 pm EST on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Quotes should be submited by email to mhollis@millburyma.gov.
