Renovation of a municipal facility in Millbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Millbury is seeking a qualified vendor to perform restoration of the integral copper trough and lower aluminum gutter systems at the Asa Waters Mansion, located at 123 Elm Street in Millbury, Massachusetts. Contractor must provide references from other historical buildings. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The scope of work includes the following: Scape and clean all +-200 LF of integral copper trough to remove loose scale, dirt and debris. Furnish and install three lead coated, copper expansion joints. Seal seams and critical areas with GACO Liquid Roof Tape or approved equal. Refasten gutter system as needed. Add reinforcing fabric as needed to bridge any failing seams or to strengthen critical areas. Seal entire gutter system with white GACOROOF silicone base coating or approved equal. Seal entire gutter system with grey GACOROOF silicone top coating or approved equal. On the lower 6" aluminum gutter system, remove three outside and one inside box miters and replace in kind.
