The Millbury Public Schools is soliciting Request for Services (RFS) for the Millbury Public Schools Roof Replacement Architect Services at three (3) locations in Millbury, MA. The project goal is to provide the project architect services of potential design, construction and repairs at roofs located at Millbury Jr./Sr. High School, Elmwood Street School and the Dorothy Manor School. The Town of Millbury ("Owner") is seeking the services of a qualified "Designer" within the meaning of M.G.L. Chapter 7C, Section 44 to provide professional design and construction administration services for the Roof Replacement and Associated Work at the Millbury Public Schools' Millbury Memorial Jr./Sr. High School, Elmwood Street School, and Dorothy Manor School ("Project") in Millbury, Massachusetts. The Owner is requesting services of a Designer throughout conceptual planning, schematic design, design development, construction, and final closeout of the project. This project consists of design, construction, and replacement of approximately 118,000 sf of roof at the existing Millbury Memorial Junior/Senior High School, 64,500 sf of roof at the existing Elmwood Street Elementary School, and 5,000 sf of roof at the Dorothy Manor School. There is the potential for the removal and replacement of existing rooftop mechanical equipment following further investigation. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to only award a contract if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
