Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Dublin, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.

This project will provide for the planning, design, and construction to renovate the 4.86-acre Kolb Park. The improvements will be consistent with the Parks and Recreation Master Plan and may include the replacement of the restroom building, play equipment, site furnishings, picnic areas, drinking fountains, tot lot fencing, parcourse equipment stations, signage, refresh the shade structure, relevel the existing paver and DG pathways, and refresh the landscaping. Staff will look for opportunities to incorporate Green Stormwater Infrastructure within the park as a part of the renovation. Project is in the City of Dublin's FY 2025- 2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Per the owner, as of January 3, 2025, they are looking at starting the Community Input Process beginning in mid-spring 2025 with the services of a TBD consulting landscape architect that is part of the their on-call services of candidates. The owner states that they anticipate bidding the project out in the winter/spring of 2026. The owner states that since this is an existing park, timing of bidding and construction may shift upon further input from the Parks and Community Services Department to time the construction at the least impactful time for the park users. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
