This project provides for the design and construction of tenant improvements to the Dublin Library, including completion of 5,150 square feet of currently unoccupied space within the library building. The 37,000 square-foot library building was completed in Fiscal Year 2002-2003, however only 30,000 square feet was occupied. In Fiscal Year 2016-2017, a tenant improvement project was completed which opened an additional 1,850 square feet of space adjacent to the children's area. This project will open the remaining 5,150 square feet of building area for library and community use. Improvements may include removal of interior walls and the installation and modification of shelving and fixtures; carpet replacement; and repainting. The project is consistent with the 2016 Alameda County Library Space Plan. Project is included in the City of Dublin's FY 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Per the owner, as of March 11, 2025, this project is in design.
