This document, and the ideas and designs incorporated herein, as an instrument of professional service, is the property of the City of Sioux City, Iowa and is not to be used, in whole or in part, for any other project without the written authorization of the City The work on this project shall begin upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed and be fully completed by completed by November 7, 2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the bidding documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda, via the contact information provided on the plan holder’s list. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening bids may not be answered. Only answers issued by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed and shall provide and furnish all of the labor, materials, necessary tools, expendable equipment and complete in a workmanlike manner all the work required in connection with the construction of the Martin Luther King Jr. Transportation Center Boiler Replacement Project in Sioux City, Iowa, all in strict accordance with the contract documents; and in strict compliance with the Contractor’s bid and the other contract documents herein mentioned which are a part of this Contract; the Contractor shall do everything required by this Contract and the other documents constituting a part thereof.
