Site work for a water / sewer project in Toppenish, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Yakama Nation is requesting bids for completion of heavy helicopter operations to lift, transport and place logs in the White Creek Basin of the Klickitat River Watershed. The watershed is located on the divide between Klickitat and Yakima Counties. All work on the project must be completed prior to October 31, 2024, and bids must indicate availability accordingly. Aircraft must be able to lift 10,000 lbs and the pilot must have 300 hours of verifiable experience in stream placement/logging. The Yakama Nation plans to request bid proposals from qualified firms and subsequently contract for the performance of the project work within the project timeframe. The successful contractor will be required to comply with federal laws, regulations and Tribal ordinances.
