Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering and Related Professional Services. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) #3228-24 Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering and Related Professional Services allows LISD to pre-qualify firm(s) for MEP Engineering Professional Services. It is the intent of Lewisville Independent School District to select firms based on qualifications of the criteria listed within the Evaluation Criteria section of this RFQ. In order to assist with new projects, LISD will assess the selected firm(s) on a qualifications basis as necessary for a given project. This will be a two-phase process as listed below. The selection process in Phase I will pre-qualify one or more MEP engineering firm(s) from which LISD may select and commission engineering and related Professional Services for LISD projects. This RFQ shall be for a two (2) year agreement between the District and the provider with two (2) successive two (2) year extensions, based on the long-range needs of the District and mutual consent of both parties not to exceed six (6) years total. Prospective firm(s) must be a Texas Registered Professional Engineering firm. During the RFQ process, unless requested by LISD, LISD will not be able to meet for company introductions. Phase I - Qualifications - The attached document and any follow-up questions to firm(s) will be used to select/prequalify the highly qualified providers of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Engineering and Related Professional Services on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications. Phase II - Contract Negotiations - Attempt to negotiate a contract with selected provider at a fair and reasonable price as described herein. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
