All Work shall be completed by Oct 30, 2024. The Village reserves the right to refuse any and all bids. The Village of North Prairie is requesting bids for crack filling of several road sections in the Village of North Prairie. All crack filling shall be hot pour crack-filling All crack filling shall be hot pour crack-filling in accordance with specifications which can be picked up at the Village Hall, 130 N. Harrison Street, North Prairie, Wl 53153 or by email at dave.molitor@northprairiewi.gov All crack filling shall be hot pour crack filling in accordance with the following specifications: All crack filling materials shall conform to ASTM D66900-01 m Standard Specification for Joint and Crack Sealants, Hot Applied, for Concrete and Asphalt Pavements. All cracks are to be routed to a minimum of a 2:1 ration width vs. depth. All cracks shall be cleaned with compressed air or a hot air lance. Cleaning shall remove as much loose material as possible and dry the side and bottom surface of the crack prior to crack filling. All cracks shall then be filled level to the adjacent road surface. All heating of the crack filling materials shall be in double-jacketed oil bath kettle. Direct fire kettles are notallowed. Crack filling material shall be applied with a pump and wand only, no pour pots shall be allowed. Traffic shall be directed by the Contractor around the area of work until all operations are complete. Traffic shall not be allowed on crack filled areas until material has set. All work shall be completed no later than October 30,2024. Certificate of Insurance must be submitted prior to beginning work.
