Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Parking Lot Striping and Power Washing. Total estimated value of this contract is greater than $50,000 annually, depending on the District's needs over the contract period. If the award recommendation is approved, the initial term of this contract ("Contract") will be for one (1) year from AUGUST 14, 2024, through AUGUST 13, 2025. Thereafter, the District reserves the right to either renew the contract annually for up to four (4) additional one-year terms ("Renewal Terms") or to extend the contract on a month-to-month basis to prevent a lapse in the contract term until the District re-bids the Contract. Scope of Work The Spring Independent School District ("District") requests competitive sealed proposals for the purpose of identifying a vendor(s) to supply Parking Lot Striping and Power Washing to support the needs of the District, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications established within this Request for Proposals (RFP). Under this service agreement, the vendor will provide parking lot striping and power washing as herein described in accordance with the following terms and conditions: o The vendor will use skilled technicians, trained, supervised and directly employed by the vendor. o The awarded vendor will be required to field verify all quantities and dimensions prior to providing an estimate. o Fire Lanes shall be 6" wide red lines painted on the curb with 4" white letters spaced every 25' unless otherwise specified by the most stringent municipality. All other lines shall be painted a minimum of four (4) inches in width. o All center lines shall be painted yellow, unless otherwise instructed. o Handicap markings are to be painted according to current requirements. Curb ramps will be painted blue. o Crosswalks will be painted in yellow and will go through the entire fire lane all the way to the curb ramp. o All asphalt parking lanes and play areas shall be white. All concrete parking lanes and play areas shall be white. o 4" road buttons when required shall be white, ceramic, and non-reflective and be glued down with the appropriate epoxy glue. o All loose paint and debris shall be removed prior to striping by sweeping or pressure washing. Pressure washing or water blasting of sufficient strength to remove loose paint shall always precede any re-striping. Use 3,600 psi as a minimum for power washing. o No striping shall be done when the area to be painted has moisture of any type standing on it. A period of 48 hours shall be allowed for proper drying time. o All work will be conducted in a manner that does not disrupt instructional learning times and/or district operations.
