The project includes: Removal of five (5) natural gas backup power generators. Installation of five (5) replacement natural gas backup power generators. Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. Solicitation documents are also available for review at the Oregon City Engineering and Operations Center, 13895 Fir Street, Oregon City, Oregon, 97045 (Telephone: 971-204-4601), between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays. Each proposal must be submitted on forms prescribed by the City and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a statutory public works bond in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00). Evidence of workers' compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low bidder prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
