Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Carpentersville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed improvements will consist of installing 24"storm sewer, installing high-capacity inlets, replacing inlets, connecting existing dry wells to new storm sewer, installing manholes, pavement removal, class D patching, structure adjustments, storm sewer, sidewalk and curb &gutter replacement, pavement markings, restoration and all other ancillary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards. A Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal shall be submitted with each proposal as provided in Article 102.09 of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Article 102.08 of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
