Renovation of an educational facility in Vienna, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of August 19,2024, project was awarded to Phoenix Associates, Inc., but awarded amount is not available. Work shall include, but not be limited to the following: selective demolition and renovations of the existing office reception area and a separate storage/classroom space to provide a new accessible secure entrance and reception area. This includes general modifications to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and new interior finishes Project Estimated Schedule: Project awarded on or about August 6th, 2024 and to be completed on or before January 10, 2025. All questions shall be directed to Stephanie Donahoe of Pickering Associates at sdonahoe@pickeringusa.com. Clarifications requested by a Bidder must be submitted in writing to Stephanie Donahoe prior to 4:00 pm on July 3rd, 2024 The Contractor agrees that from the compensation otherwise paid, the Owner may retain a sum of $500 a day, for each day thereafter, Sundays and holidays included, that the work remains uncompleted, which sum is agreed upon as the proper measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain per diem by the failure of the Contractor to complete the Work at the stipulated time, and the sum is not to be construed in any sense a penalty.
