Renovation of a civil project in Kent, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
This project seeks to replace bulk storage tanks, day storage tanks, metering pumps, transfer pumps, and all associated piping, valves, supports, and other components throughout the West Chemical Building at the Akron Water Plant in Kent, Ohio. The chemical rooms that will be affected are the fluoride, hydrochloric acid, sodium chlorite, and zinc orthophosphate systems. Knockout wall reconstruction and utilization of a rigging contractor will be required. Question Deadline 06/21/2024 at 11:00 AM ET, Location : online portal. EPA Goals: 1.3% MBE and 1.0% WBE City of Akron Local Goal: 18% EDGE/DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE/VBE (minimum 3% WBE)
