Airport North Tank Rehabilitation Project The Project includes the following Work: 1. the surface preparation, priming, and painting of an existing 300,000 gallon elevated spheroid tank. 2. the replacement of ss #24mesh screens as indicated 3. the replacement of all manhole seals 4. the installation of a passive tank mixing system 5. mobilization and demobilization 6. the replacement of an FAA approved obstruction light, as indicated 7. miscellaneous appurtenances 8. safety systems 9. items of construction work and/or materials not specifically addressed herein, but nonetheless required for a complete, operating, and acceptable installation of the work, shall be considered subsidiary to the lump sum bid item, and the cost thereof shall be considered to be included. The Project has an expected duration of 120 days. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept that bid which in its judgment best serves the interest of the Owner.
