Biosolids and UV Disinfection Improvements. 1. New biosolids belt dryer with wet cake bunker, dried solids storage silo, and associated items; 2. Two new rotary fan press units with polymer feed, pumps, augers, and associated items; 3. Odor control scrubber; 4. Chlorine contact basin conversion to UV disinfection channel and building with new UV disinfection equipment; 5. Plant effluent reuse screen, pumps, and associated equipment; 6. Precast biosolids dryer building and masonry UV disinfection building; 7. Demolish existing biosolids, UV disinfection, and plant effluent reuse equipment; 8. Electrical and controls; 9. HVAC for new buildings; 10. Site work and site piping. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SCOPE OF WORK A. All equipment furnished under this section shall be fabricated, assembled, erected, and placed in proper operating condition in full conformity with detailed drawings, specifications, engineering data, instructions, and recommendations furnished by the SUPPLIER and equipment manufacturer. It is the responsibility of OTHERS to provide contract drawings of the overall system for review prior to installation. B. Installation of all equipment and materials as provided by SUPPLIER. C. Installation of wet cake bin, including leak testing after final assembly. All materials shall be supplied by CONTRACTOR including ensuring water or air source availability. D. Unloading and storage of equipment furnished by SUPPLIER to be administered by OTHERS. E. Unless otherwise stated, all equipment furnished by the SUPPLIER shall be shipped to the jobsite loose and installed by OTHERS. F. Supply and installation of all sample pumps and sample piping as required for instrumentation provided by the SUPPLIER. G. Supply and installation of air compressor and pressurized air piping as required for instrumentation provided by the SUPPLIER. H. Installation of all progressive cavity pump quench reservoirs and their fluid. Supply of glycol for the reservoirs. I. Provide all labor, materials, supplies and utilities as required for startup, adjustment and performance testing including laboratory equipment (such as CEM solids moisture analyzer), laboratory facilities, analytical work and chemicals. J. Provide all chemicals, lubricants, sealing fluids, thermal fluid for thermal fluid system, and other supplies required for equipment startup and adjustment. Including CEM microwave analyzer for solids measurement.
