The scope of the project includes the removal of the existing 8-inch terra cotta sewer pipe and two brick manholes, followed by the installation of a new 12- inch sewer line and three concrete manholes. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure that all lateral connections unearthed during the excavation process are properly reconnected to the new system. Upon completion of these installations, the project will conclude with the repaving of the affected road surface to restore it to its original condition, and the repair of any curbing that was damaged during the project's duration. Project awardee is required to obtain a Performance Bond for 100% of the contract price, and a Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price. All costs are non-refundable.
