Renovation of a municipal facility in Farmington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Site Work associated with 1928 Building Renovations Section includes general administrative and procedural requirements governing execution of the Work including, but not limited to, the following: 1. Installation of the Work. 2. Cutting and patching. 3. Progress cleaning. 4. Protection of installed construction. 5. Correction of the Work A bid bond for five percent (5%) of the base bid cost is required and must accompany each bid. Bids must be held firm and may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) days beyond the bid opening date. The successful bidder must file a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond, a one hundred percent (100%) Labor & Materials Bond and a Certificate of Insurance with the Town of Farmington within ten (10) days of notice of bid award. Attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of minimum wages and compliance with certain local, state, and federal requirements The Town of Farmington reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, or to waive defects in same, or to accept any proposal, or part thereof, when it is deemed to be in the Town of Farmington's best interest.
