In general, the work consists of replacement of pumps, lift out assemblies, piping, valves, electrical main disconnects and controls for four (4) lift stations in the collection system. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid. The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than the prevailing wage rates established by the State of Indiana. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, but no bidder shall withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the actual opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner. Replace the existing main disconnect switch with (1) service rated 3 pole 60A HD fused disconnect switch with NEMA 4X SS enclosure. The contractor shall coordinate the installation with AEP. Myers RWGD-300 lift-out rail packages with 3-in discharge bases, top rail support brackets and 1 %-in sch 40 SS guide rails (2 at each pump). Replace discharge piping from new discharge bases to the existing piping at the edge of pavement with 3-in sch 40 SS pipe. Include (3) 3-in plug valves and (2) 3-in check valves to be installed in the existing valve vault. Replace (1) duplex pump control panel with NEMA 4X SS enclosure, 60A, 3pole main disconnect switch with flange-mounted lockout handle, SS conduit or pedestal raceway for power and control cables to the wet well. The contractor shall provide temporary electrical service, piping and equipment for all bypass pumping of raw wastewater from Halex/AZZ to Triton pump station or a suitable tank truck during construction.
