Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Grapevine, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a 12,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center; and 7,000-square-foot clubhouse / community center.
The owner has selected a Construction Manager. The project is expected to start construction in August 31, 2024. The City of Grapevine is seeking a qualified Construction Management at Risk Firm. The firm must demonstrate that they have the resources, experience and qualifications necessary to provide services in connection with Construction Manager at Risk Services for the CVB Concourse Building and Pro Shop for Facility Improvements construction project located at 3800 Fairway Drive, Grapevine, TX 76051. Scope of services include alterations to two buildings of approximately 12,000 and 7,000 square feet. The existing Pro Shop / "Mulligan's" building will be re-purposed to create a primarily open-air event venue. A fire place, restrooms, warming kitchen and storage will be constructed within this space. The neighboring Concourse building will be altered to create a warming kitchen, expanded meeting space, a green room, office, re-configured restrooms, and more storage space. In addition, a new entry structure will be constructed between the two existing buildings. Approximately 11,000 SF of site pavement will be removed and replaced to accommodate an accessible path to the buildings from parking lot. A new fire line and gas line will be installed to the concourse building. All questions regarding the terms, conditions or specifications of this bid must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on July 1, 2024, through Online PERFORMANCE BOND AND PAYMENT BONDS Performance and payment bonds must be submitted within 10 days after notice of award of contract. The project is estimated to be substantially completed 10 months after the notice to proceed for construction is issued o The Texas Government Code mandates that a municipality contracting for public work in excess of $50,000 shall require its contractor to execute a payment bond. o A performance bond is required if the total contract price exceeds $100,000. Public bid openings are suspended at this time due to the Service Center closure at 501 Shady Brook Drive. All bid openings will be completed on schedule and witnessed by Purchasing staff to ensure all procurement statutes, policies and state laws are followed.
